SCAM– Automated machine will ask you to press 1 to speak to an officer, they the officer will tell you that your National Insurance Number is being investigated and they will proceed to suspend it until further investigation occurs. DO NOT reply and REPORT to Action Fraud.

The call purpoting to be from HM Revenue dept was suspicious. The correct name Her Majesty s Revenue and Customs, commonly abbreviated as HMRC never initiate communication by telephone, only by letter. Call not returned.
