A new kind of claim. Basically a variation on the old PPI merchants. So a number to ignore 1

SCAM DO NOT GIVE THIS CALLER ANY INFORMATION! IT’S A MASSIVE SCAM!
tried selling me "extra good sim card", claiming to be from VM, didnt go through the tpical VM log in [you now enter various digits of passcode with keypad, NOT by voice], poor english, noisy line, they have phoned three times in the last two days from the same numer, I have now blocked their call.
Call tonight claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service and asking if I received cold calls. A man with an Asian accent on a crackly line in a call centre then informed me that my subscription was about to expire. Clearly a scam so I told him what I thought of him and hing up. The number is not registered - is it not time that the phone companues filtered calls from unregistered numbers to stop this sort of abuse as it is untraceable.

SCAM purporting to be from Royal Mail with a link to 'resolve' a delivery that's on hold.

These people will not take no for an answer. They said my husband had filled in an online form for PPI which he has not and when I said he was not interested they said they would have to talk to him. I told them to go away and they are still calling.

From a so called energy advice centre - wanted to know house ownership info, fuel used for heating, age of boiler, age of house, whether any renewal energy installed - clearly did not like my answers as he then cut the call off. Annoying and potentially dangerous if it had continued
