SCAM - “your national insurance number has been deactivated” an alleged ‘National crime agency’. I laughed and hung up as soon as the recorded message said my NI has been deactivated, because that’s frankly impossible.
Telesales (using a local number so I picked up this call!) re: green energy... re: adding solar panels to your property. I said I live in rented accommodation and the caller very nicely conceded defeat!

I missed 4 calls from this number so guessed would be a Nuisance Call. Purportedly is the NHS Health Centre. I already had this pegged as a nuisance number but wanted to know Real Reason for call. Ijust answered a call from this number. There was a lot of noise in the background and it seemed that the person phoning, thought I was phoning him. When I pointed this out, he said "you ve got a bad attitude" and when I said "pardon" he said "you heard" and hung up!! Very rude and aggressive!

Phoned today at12.15 pm. Fairly gruff voice. Purportedly from BT. Asked me to confirm that I had been in touch with BT this morning. As I had, I said yes. There was some hesitation and a lot of background noise. I asked what he wanted. He asked if contact was by phone or mail (I think). I replied that the contact was on the internet and he abruptly ended the call.
