When asked why it was a Manchester number on caller identifier he stated that it really was London (!) but I could call 08000969345 to verify who he was. Googled that number but that turned out to be a taxi firm in Manchester. Really.... how stupid do they think we are?

A man with a strange over-pronouncing accent leaves voicemails saying "I have found your CV on [website] and am interested in discussing a role in China with Teach TEFL". Rather annoying considering my profile clearly states the locations I m willing to work, China is absolutely not one of them. Just seems like they re throwing calls at any random English CVs they find in the hopes of catching someone.
This number called several days in a row and left no message, They are local to us, so they look legit, but they are starting to become a nuisance.

I became suspicious when caller tried to get me to download an app to my phone. Cancelled the call and Called talk talk directly. This started as an automated voice message telling me my annual Amazon Prime account (which I don't have) will renew shortly and that if I wanted to speak to an advisor I can press 1. With the account details being incorrect and the number being a UK mobile, this is obviously a scam to get you to confirm personal details.
