The beginning of the story is the same.........tax office,police,court.......etc. nShe told I had to be in an hour in a 30 miles away office to pay,I told I could not....Certain...
I just made reference to this number 118506, and have realised how the number cropped up in my account . . . red faced and embarrassed . . I simply misdialed a local number but it registered and was directed to a reverse charge mobile . . . 38 seconds was the time it took to register a misdial, cancel and dial again! Panic over, the clue was the correct number dialed a minute later which was 'close' to the misdialed number!
I got called from this number saying that nut was BT and that my IP was being hacked. They then mentioned online banking and for me to login to my online banking at which point ...
