Lady called initially saying she was from Talk Talk about suspicious activity on my Internet then half way through her patter, after I asked her to spell her name (Janat then janet) she said she was from BT.
Claimed to be from BT technical services about my internet connection . Told him I didn t believe him and hung up.

This number called while I was out today. I rang it back later and got a message that it could not accept calls. My caller display indicated that it was an "international" number. Because it was clearly not from Liverpool, I set my call blocker against it. I note that it has subsequently rung again. My blocker rejected it.

I am in dispute with Scottish Power over the final bill, which includes charges for the 3 month period after I moved out (despite me notifying them on the date of the move). After numerous phone calls to SP, I have been promised that the matter is under investigation and that there is a hold on the account. Harrassment call. Too many of calls to my mobile are harrassment callers. This is the third number I have had calls from today and it is only 9.55 am.
Fraud. Got a call from this number claiming that I had been committing tax fraud, and if I didn't press "1" during the call, a warrant would be issued for me and I would be arrested immediately.
Paid number - called a relative (she was not even in the house at the time but the number appeared in her statement) and cost her around £13.
Think this number must be trying to sell something as they don’t leave a message.

SCAM: I had trouble connecting Alexa to my 89 Yr old mum's Internet. I saw a website that looked genuine for Alexa Amazon. Foolishly I allowed them to have remote access. They pretended that my mum's Internet had a hidden virus. He remotely went to Amazon and pretended to be surprised when the cost of an Internet protection gadget came around £1000. That's when he offered that Alexa Amazon could do it for £249. He definitely had a script. I was unsure and asked for a phone number to call him back.
Called me when I picked up, there was no reply. And then an automated voice said Good Bye and hung up.

Silent call - disturbed my train of thought during work hours on a work-only number. Best guess is they dial out in excess of capacity and just dump surplus responders -- whoever they are this is an abusive practice
