caller didnt announce himself, just asked me to confirm personal details but when i asked, he claimed to be from "the nationwide". He had my name, phone number and postcode. He wanted me to confirm my age but as soon as i asked him further questions he hung up and ended the call. This was obviously not a legitimate call from the nationwide building society.

Received a couple of calls from the number, but no message was left. However, since it weren t suspiciously many, I actually called back. It was RBS/NatWest card services and in my case they called because of a problem with a direct debit, which we were luckily able to resolve rather quickly.
