Had a phone calls from this number on 5/6/17, when I picked phone up and said 'hello', the caller rang off.

PPI insurance scam
SCAM claiming to be from VirginMedia. Wanted me to download and install remote desktop control software. Tried to use the ASSOC Command Scam to justify their claim to be from VirginMediua becasue they knew the (supposedly unique) ID 888DCA60-FC0A-11CF-8F0F-00C04FD7D062 which actually is found on every Windows PC

Caller said he was calling to check up on the loft insulation I'd had installed recently. I have no loft. When I asked when this installation had been carried out, the line went dead. Pretty evidently a scam caller seeking home access.
