Claimed to be from Trojan Telecom and to be calling to reduce my company s telephone bill. Trojan does exist but I doubt if it knows anything about this call. I dialled 1471 and was given the above number followed by a "please hang up" message, suggesting the number may well be fictitious.

Pretends to be virgin media saying my account has been compromised. Checked with Virgin and they say they would never ring to give this information. Beware they are quite convin...
SCAM recorded message claiming my internet was hacked and they were going to cut me off. press 1 to speak to someone. I didn't but stayed on the line and the caller claimed to be from BT open net and repeated the hacking claim. I told him to cut me off then. Surprise I still seem to be able to access it....
