Have had 4-5 calls from this number today. Finally answered & a lady called Lisa, was telling me that as I had never made a call out on my sky protection I was eligible for a saving to become a platinum Customer & Pay £150 for 3 years of protection instead of what I m currently paying. She new my full name & address & said I banked with Halifax but they would have to Pay it as a one off payment by debit or credit card. These people repeatedly call phishing for information stating that they are calling about a car accident. Maybe some poor souls they call talk about an accident they may/ may not have had and pass on personal details. It appears to be a scam and the only way to avoid them calling is to block their number. They called my number >10 times over past 6 months and have never taken it off their system. FYI I was never in a car accident.

A well spoken English accent for a change from the usual child caller. They at least had the business owners name for a change but the usual failure to state their name or purpose was present, my suggestion that the owner had gone to Tunisia for the summer will, no doubt, fail to put them off their mission of calling every day for the foreseeable future.

Called my mobile (which is registered with telephone preference) and asked who and how I was before saying she was from Red Star. I asked who Red Star were and she hung up.

Immediately hung up.
