Called me a few minutes ago today to offer me a deal regarding my debt management plan. I told them (truthfully) that I am ill and asked them to call back another time (which was generous as my debt management plan is working very well, and I didn t need to talk to them at all). Sucked me right in, rude and abrasive and didn t really end the call.
I had a call today from this number saying that an Amazon Gift card had been purchased using my card. I said Amazon didn't ring customers and that it was a scam and not to ring my number again.
Appeared to be a local code so I answered, caller asked for me by maiden name (have been married 8 years!) Definately acting on outdated data. Just trying their luck
