Said that my Bank card had been used twice today and if it was not me gave me the stale ring 1 or ring 2 options. Have not called them back and have no intention of doing so. Missed call Rang me x 2 on WhatsApp but didn’t leave a message. Strange that although my phone was right by my side it never actually rang, so must assume it’s a scam of some sort as the number should be 01 something if it’s a land line in the UK or 07 something if mobile in the UK.

Claimed to be energy survey company. When told we were not interested and to delete our details, the caller said "you c**t". Not the attitude to have regardless if it was genuine or spam.
A similar number is 02039977797. They sold me a fake flight ticket and are not answering my calls.

Said they were BT, I had too many people using my IP. The account name was wrong. They said they could block them from their server, but it would be better from my PC. After my challenges they sent a text message with a verification code. It said to change my password. I did. Had one previously, real BT support said it was a scam. Assumed this identical call was too. Only the false account name was a clue, otherwise how can you tell?

Normally they call me from different Aberdeen Numbers, so now they're trying to catch me out by phoning me from Dumfries. I haven't had any kind of Accident but they just don't leave me alone, no matter how many times I tell them to take my number off they're list.

"Hi. I'm Chris, your local Energy Advisor for your post code area..." I cut him off and asked what the post code was - he couldn't/wouldn't tell me so I told him he was a liar and scammer and hung up. Because of the silence between me answering and his speaking and the clicks as his call was connected, the call was made from an autodialer, and was not made from a mobile phone as the number would indicate.
