A person called requesting that I was able to provide them with details about myself and my occupation to whom I currently am employed with. When I asked why they wanted this information, they paused and said it was for 'business analytical research'.

Foriegn guy called said he was from a company called Certik, said I had invested in a company called go365 in 2022, sums of 250 then 500 and then 1000 pounds, he said someone had stolen my identity and was using my identity to invest. They just called me pretending to be from motability insurance asking about recent accident with my motability car. My car hasn’t been in an accident but is currently in for repair at the dealership following an RAC call out when my battery was flat and the car wouldn’t start. I don’t know how these scammers got my unlisted mobile number or even knew I have a motability car (which has a private plate on it). Someone has given them my personal information. Guy hung up when I was in mid sentence.
This number came in a text message to me supposedly from my daughter asking me to whatsapp the number so that I could contact her as her own phone was not working and it was an emergency.
Don’t know anyone in Vietnam, treat as fraudulent caller.
SCAM - A robot voice told me that £600 would be sent overseas from my card unless I pressed the '1' key to speak to someone. Didn't say which card, or which bank. I terminated the call, then tried calling the number. An answering machine announced that the number wasn't accepting calls. Obvious scam. I've blocked the number.
Utilities They said they were from BT. Starting asking about my internet. Asked if I had given my password to anybody other than family as during the times of midnight to 2am there has been unusual activity. All sounds a bit dodgy. I hung up at that point.

Not sure what is going on here, but I got a new sim card today and it was not activated. After installing it into my phone I received an email at 15.46 this afternoon telling me my sim was activated. When I logged into my account online after activation, it showed on my account that I had sent a SMS to this number 07537 452525 at 14.57 today. This was impossible as the sim was not even activated at 14.57 and I definitely did not send any SMS to anyone. I called my Mobile Provider and they are investigating.
