I Believe this is a scam call 01985216376 - I had a call from this number from a person with an Indian accent calling himself Barry. He said he was calling from open reach regarding our internet line, in the background it sounded like an office environment. I called the number back and got an English speaking gentleman called Richard and no office sounds in the background and he was not open reach. They may be tapping in to UK numbers to catch people out. My internet is working Fine by the way.

SCAM- said I had been in a road traffic accident when I asked where they had got my details from they asked me to wait and someone else came on the phone. They told me the same. I asked where they had got this information from and they asked my why I needed to know. They refused to tell me and when I asked what details they held about me they put the phone down. Cold calling/scam!

Woman with strong Asian accent claiming to be from Opus Energy. As with other reports, claiming there was an error with MPAN number affecting the meter reading. Hung up and she called back annoyed and demanding to speak to the person responsible for the electric supply. Sadly for her that was me. In the current circumstances with energy companies going to the wall we can expect more of these pond life creatures creeping out from under their rock. Scamming scum.

this number just rung saying they can offer an early upgrade to my contract with Three (I m actually with three), but the man new nothing about my contract and asked me how much I spent on average on my phone. If it was a genuine call regarding offering me an upgrade for my existing contract he would at least knew how much I spent every month! Then he hanged up. Fraud - Called left voicemail, robot voice asking for call back about a court order. Called asked who I was speaking with said HMRC. What's your call regarding, they said your tax filing, I said I don't file taxes, then he said what you don't work, not at all? I said no, I don't file taxes. Then I said what department of HMRC are you calling from, he said the tax department (I'm an accountant, there are many many tax departments). I said I didn't believe him, response from him was 'Bitch don't be rude'
