Recorded voice claims to be from HMRC stating that have been identified as committing fraud. I hung up after was told told to press 1 and consequences if didn't.

Scam Official sounding voice on voicemail stating suspicious and fraudulent activity near border of Wales and advising to press 1 to tal to legal investigator before taking legal action. Mentions checking National Insurance number check. Obvious scam as some of the grammar is confused but quite alarming on first hearing. I have had a number of calls from mobile numbers with the same first 8 digits.

They called me several times and i decided to answer it today and they told me that they from amenisty international(human right)as i wanted to ask more question the line cut off.Later on i googled amenisty international and i couldn t find that number and i became suspicious.

Talk Talk are prohibited from contacting you while a transfer is going through, other than by letter. I think this is an iffy way round the rules. They don t use TT main 0800 telephone number. No records kept. Trading standards next I think
