Scam - HMRC fraud claim
Received a couple of calls from this number. It s Vanquis calling about supposed late payments and debt. It s one thing to call if the person actually has debt, but quite another if the person hasn t. What s more, they call at all hours and quite frequently so it s bothering on harassment!
SCAM: Automated call from the special investigation unit who advised me they would be suspending my NI number. Dont bother, block immediatley.

I went on to live chat on their website whom confirmed the call was from them - I have recommended they add the number they call from to their website as google search shows it as a telepest rather than a genuine call. Fraud called themselves Virgin Mobile but later found to be Cheetay Logistics PVT Ltd (pakistan) took loads of details promising to reduce monthly Phone bills and provide a new phone. After asking for passwords and discussing a new contract, bank details were taken and phone to be delivered. They tried to then scam £13,065.01 out of a bank account starting with a £9.35 delivery charge, a £30 bank check then took a £24 charge further amounts stopped bank details changed and reported to the fraud squad.
This is an energy broker, trying to get you to sign up to an alternative tariff (see http://energybrokerscam.blogspot.co.uk/). They gave a callback number of 0845 543 6679.
