Received call from busy overseas call centre claiming to be BT. When I pointed out that yesterdays call was reported as a fraud to the police she hung up. Yesterdays call exactly same script but from 01724956685 they are hacking into or falsely generating a UK number. It is the role of BT to put a stop to this nonsense?

This number has called me fives times today starting at 10am! As the day has gone on the calls have been approx. an hour apart. No message left but they seem pretty keen to get hold of me. Any ideas anyone? I do not answer numbers I do not know.

Calling about compensation that could be available for a minor motoring incident I ve been involved with recently. They used my maiden name which was a red flag to start with, and I ve not been in any incident. Lady tried to persist with the call after I politely tried to end it so hung up instead. Looking back at call history there s been 6 missed calls from this number in last week with no messages left. Number now added to blocked list.

Rang to say he wanted to discuss any outstanding debt and he was from citizens advice bureau and it was a government scheme , asked me repeatedly how much I owed and when I kept telling him I wasn t prepared to discuss that information he put the phone down on me ...

This number called me asking for my x partner saying he purchased a car he no longer lives with me has he used my address for he's finance ?

Very persistent, apparently works on commission. Sounded like a nice bloke trying very hard to make some money but... beware. Obvious indian or pakistani accent but then gave a very english name. Never give personal details or commit anything on a cold call.

getting multiple calls from this number everyday. please guys, ignore this number.

said he was from the MINISTRY of Justice!, and that I had incurred bank charges and was owed money. wanted to get my first name and date of birth. I said i was called Jeff - I m a woman- and gave a false dob before I hung up. Strong male Asian accent - another load of old rubbish and making nuisance of themselves

They ring, you answer. They don't speak. Time wasters.

08000319178 caller called me stating i won a holiday, my own apartment up to 6 people, that i won, all flighrs are paid, all i got to do is have spending money .... hmmm whats wrong with that .... I do not recognise this phone number to be of a business that I have corresponded with and still don't after looking it up. I allowed the call to ring out because of this.
