This number called me at 7:36 am on a Monday morning! I'm a retired person so I don't get up before the sun and at 7:36 am the sun is still in bed in Greater Manchester. I did jump out of bed but didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. Apparently the call originated in Thanet which Google tells me is in Kent. As I know of no reason why someone from Thanet (which I'd never even heard of) should phone me at an ungodly time of day I can only assume this was a scam call.
This person is an absolute nuisance and does not take no for an answer. Continuously calls my business landline. He called at least a dozen times yesterday.

On answering, I got a recorded message saying it was something to do with bank security, followed by a message that was intended to frighten. I hung up, and have blocked the number. This was an automated call advising I had suspected fraud on my accounts. Gave 2 transactions and was asked to press 1 to accept 2 to decline. I put the phone down and called the bank. It wasn’t them! Please just put the phone down on this number and don’t press any buttons

A message in a Chinese language was left by whoever dialled the number. Possibly automated. This happened today at 14:47PM and also on numerous occasions in the past. What is strange about this automated message in Chinese, is that I keep hearing it a lot and it is over a year now since this happened, the only difference is that, I see other UK numbers which was displayed on my phone and the same automated message is heard. I have no clue what the message is all about!

The number 01736 735261 called me about 10.30am 28/06/23 and it was a recorded message from an International Banking service stating I had made a payment of £300 to Amazon and £1100 to another provider. Told me to press 1 if correct and 2 to speak with an adviser. Pressed 2 and answered by "This is Officer Stephen, how can I help". When I asked which organisation he represented the phone went dead.
