This Indian sounding gentleman says he works for the Ministry of Justice in London & is the senior accounts manager working with a company called money saving expert to recover PPI insurances on loans & mortgages. For an up front cash fee(?290 or ?615) payable via Western Union, to India, he will arrange transfer of funds to you which amount to 10 s of thousands of pounds. Once the cash fee is paid another Indian sounding gentleman phones to get the Western Union transfer number(MCTN)& tells you everything

It claims to be "EVRI", wanting to reschedule a parcel delivery... I'm not expecting any parcel, so I'm sure it's just another one of the vast amount of scams that are going around. Apparently it's an O2 network mobile number "(+447759916871)", in the Manchester area. This company have been working on recovering my ppi since 2012, on various accounts/loans/store cards. I have had no problems with them. They have settled 3 accounts for me todate and are still working on a couple. Great value for money as they do all the donky work for the fee that I paid them for.

Had a call from this number on my Moby, I answered it and asked who they were. Fella said he was from a company that was enquiring if I had a Funeral Plan in place. Cold calling from companies that trawl the internet looking for innocent people like me who have inadvertently entered into legitimate competitions online and think that because I have entered my Moby Number to the competition company, that they can ring me.
