Caller rang me and clearly it is from a call centre as lots of people talking in the background about mobile phones. Caller did not speak and hung up the phone. I rang the number back which is supposedly on the Sheffield UK exchange but there was a one sentence message which said you have been called by carphonewarehouse . A few minutes later the same caller ID appeared on my phone and when I answered it it was a female calling from carphonewarehouse in SOUTH AFRICA!!

This number is a green line, probably for some company as a client's service number where the call is paid by the company itself. Haven't found which company owns this number, has anyone seen it before?
This number keeps calling my house, at first I asked them to delete my number from their records (which they have not) so now I play a game with them. I try and sell the caller anything from life insurance to time share, they soon put the phone down :) Don t get angry get even :)

SCAM Fraud Claimed to be HSBC fraud to check a couple of suspicious transactions and knew the area I was located in. They didn't ask for any secure information but when I called HSBC directly, they had no record of either the call or the transactions on my account.
