Caller claimed to be from BT technical dept.Second call in a few days claiming to be BT the first saying about my internet,I am not with BT sounded same voice so I stopped her and said I knew it was a scam.I double checked with BT they would not call from these numbers.It's a scam so avoid

Got a call relating to a credit card payment from my account, I think it's some kind of a scam because my credit card provider has never called me to confirm a payment from my account.

SCAM . Clearly coming from a call centre. Stated his name was David (Asian accent), and that the call is about my Microsoft account. I have been plagued by similar calls in recent times, and as my landline is quite new, only a handful of people actually have been given this number, therefore any unsolicited calls are clearly SCAMS

Yeah, these idiots keep calling me too. My advice is to play along and waste their time. I spent hours providing them false contact and banking details. Male voice, indian accent. All I could understand was "I am calling you today......... mam". I asked him to speak slowly and clearly, he repeated the garbled content and I told him I didnt understand and needed him to speak slowly. He hung up. Sounded like a typical phishing call. Sad he hung up, I like to play them along for a while just for my entertainment and waste their time.
Rang my landline number which is actually registered with the telephone preference service. Didn’t answer and no message left. On googling number, it’s probably a phishing line seeing if your number is being used.

Got called twice by this number, the first was ignored, however 6 hours later I received a call from the same number. Answered by “hello” an automated Beep activated and a robotic “goodbye” came along and the call disconnected. No idea what it means, I suppose a potentially scam or fraud number.
