I thought I ll add this. All the replies are recent (nov 2013) I got one ring then it went off. This has happened twice on one week. Timewaster.

Several missed calls from this number over the last few weeks. Today I answered the call. About endowment. Said that they had got my name from a list ! I asked them to remove my name and not to call me again!

I have had approx 3 calls from EE and I am almost certain I will not be renewing with them when my contracts expires later in the year. Each call has had a similar style: Poor communication skills; talked at me, did not listen or answer my questions. Aggressive: I m naturally quite chilled and helpful but after each of these called I have been angry and proceed to block the number. After three calls yesterday about the same thing, all from crooks saying they were from Talk Talk, this man had rung to tell me my router had been compromised, though I did not pay much attention to what he said was wrong with it. I told him what a bad line it was and got him to repeat several times. He said he would call another time but I told him not to bother. I said I knew who it was calling. He wanted to know who I thought it was. After I identified him as a criminal he called me something rude
