I was called just now by a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from Openreach and that she believed I should be getting download speeds of over 40mbs. She asked me to do a speed test which I did and got 19mbs. I asked how I would know she was genuinely from Openreach. She handed me over to her supervisor. He tried to convince me he was genuine and asked my press Ctrl Windows buttons on my keyboard so he could improve my internet connection speed. I again challenged whether he was from BT Openreach. H

They are trying to get you to let them market your property, just block them, they are a pain in the backside.

Automated message advising BT Internet would be shut down as it has been hacked, contacted BT and they confirmed this is not one of their numbers and no record of it - SCAM !!!!

This no. is very similar to others starting 01772 (which is supposedly Preston, but with spoof phoning this could be from anywhere in the World) then 924, then 3 digits e.g. 045...

I have had approx 3 calls from EE and I am almost certain I will not be renewing with them when my contracts expires later in the year. Each call has had a similar style: Poor communication skills; talked at me, did not listen or answer my questions. Then, when I had refused to give straight answers to personal questions, turned abusive having realised I had her number (sorry for the bad joke!). Do not take calls from this number, and if you do, keep making refusals - they won t be playing fair with you.

the first time this number rang I could hear a lot of chatter at the other end of the line. callcenter probably. however, no one was actually talking to me and the phone went silent. second time they called they wanted to give a quote on home insurance. I d say: just ignore!

I was stupid enough to try to return this call. Automated message didn t tell me who the company was and put me in a queue so I hung up.

I think this is a scam, caller claiming to be from BT saying issue with security on internet asking for BT ID, have blocked this number

Received 4 calls from this number over 2 hrs - missed the first 3. It was a text message from Parcelforce to warn me that a parcel would be delivered today, and the parcel arrived a few minutes after the last call!

Called at3.30pm, didn t recognise the number so let ansafone pick up, no message left. At best a nuisance call so blocked number
