This number called me that £900 is about to be paid from my Debit Account and requested me to press 1 to stop the payment. It's a pre- recorded message .
Just received a call from this number on my mobile. I answered and said "Hello?" whereupon the call was immediately disconnected. I don't recognise the number, but suspect some sort of scam or nefarious activity. Although the criminals mainly target my landline, some of them seem to have my mobile number.
Caller (male, strong Indian sub-continent accent) said he was from the Debt Advisory Department, and was calling to advise me about clearing my debts faster. Worryingly, he addressed me by my full name which I do not normally disclose or use.

A guy with an Indian accent told me something about some crypto trading I supposedly did. I suspected a scam and hung up on him.
SCAM Message popped up on my laptop stating that it was in danger of being hacked and had been temporarily blocked. The error message suggested I called a helpline (number stated 020) said to be Microsoft Security. I rang, lady answered (Indian/pakistan accent) lots of noise in the background, she wanted me to depress the windows and the letter R key on my laptop. was evasive when I asked what would happen. SCAM. Called saying they were from O2. When confronted, they got very confused and asked for my CVC number! When asked why they hung up.
Fraud Got a phone call from this number. I answered the call and nobody answered for about 20 seconds. Then a very thick Indian accent said "Hello, this is Jenny from BT Openreach.....". I replied "No your not...your a scammer" and hung up. I know and live in this dialing code and there are no BT Openreach offices in this area. Given the accent and that it is BT Openreach (which I don't even use) I suspect this is an Indian based scam call centre.
