This number has been searched at least 1250 times, if not more. The POLICE are aware and need to identify these scammers, so the more it is reported the better the chance of catching them. Recorded message claiming to be from 'bank security' (bank unidentified) telling me of two transactions of £300 and £1100 made using my 'card' (also unidentified) and asking a for a number to be pressed for further information. I hung up.The number appeared to be a standard Cambridge number, but not one I recognised.
Called saying i had two transactions against my visa card they believed were suspicious. One from amazon for a small amount and another for someone else for over 1k. asked me to press some buttons to agree or query these transactions, not a chance thanks.
