Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I checked 10 minutes ago, *this* service said there had been 16 searches in the last 10 days. Now when I've returned 20 minutes later it says there have been 20 searches. Fraud - automated call saying it was my bank (didn't say which bank!!!) detailed two transactions it said was made this morning one to Amazon and one a transfer abroad. Asked me to press 1 to cancel transactions or 2 to authorize. I'm guessing that this would then take me to a premium line number or someone asking for my details. I just hung up of course. The scary thing is that it showed as coming from a local dialing code or I wouldn't have answered it.
