This number rang me on my mobile phone at 2pm Tues 17th Jan 203. No one spoke to me. The call was terminated spontaneously in a few seconds. I think it is a SPAM / SCAM caller.

Telemarketing attempting to make me agree to having new double glazing through a scrappage scheme. Wouldn't take no for an answer and kept trying to book me an appointment even though my triple glazing is only 5 years old lol

It was a computer generated voice telling me that my card was being used for a £700 transaction. I ended the call and checked all my cards online. No such transaction so I took it that this us a scam.

Missed call, left no vm, no msg, nothing to ID themselves, usually means something crooked these days. Don't know anyone in Manchester, would not have answered it anyway. Blocking this no. & reporting it to provider, etc., or anyone who will take note, if u do that every time for every nuisance/phishing call, it mostly stops for a while at least. Beware, stay safe.

Got a call from 01564634905. The operator said he worked for UK Debt Solutions, it was a bit difficult to understand him because of his Indian like accent and I was right next to some factories thrumming away. He was polite, he said he was part of a government scheme to reduce debt.and my details were on some sort of database, which is entirely possible. Spam. Was an automated message with threat that my internet is going to be disconnected. I have a BT line, so I put the phone down on it and then picked it up and waited for dial tone and then dialled 1572, which allowed me to block the last calling number. Not sure if that blocking facility works on other providers landlines. But worth a try. It's a neat facility.

Caller was an Indian man giving the name of James from a “health” company- have had similar calls before from different numbers so obviously a call centre, want to know details of your vaccination status, etc, then ends up with a “life cover review” and asks you to accept new life cover from them. Caller did not like fact I knew this and I immediately said I am not looking to review my life cover, he told me to “grow up” and hung up!
