01223931099 rang with a very loud background noise proporting to be a call centre. The caller, with a strong foreign accent, alleged he was from sky refund centre; however, when I said ok in a less than enthusiastic manner, the caller hung up. This is most unlike any sky call centre I have experienced. I suspect it to be a scam.

They cold-call phoned me about renewal of insurance on kitchen white goods. They needed some banking details to alter the payment paperwork because they were giving me a no-claims discount. Knew enough about me to make this plausible. I 'needed to go to an appointment' [actually true] so I had to ask them to phone back tomorrow - which they were readily willing to do. Obvious scam, claiming to be from EE retaining department. If you google the number it comes up as a Noodle bar in London. The guy on the call couldn't stop stumbling over his words when I called him out on things and then laughed at me when I said I knew it was a scam.

This person calls himself Advik Anup and pretends to be looking for a wife on matrimonial site.. will talk to you for a few days saying he's from London and is permanently shifting to India.. send you a fake ticket for his travel and then he'll call saying that he's stuck at the airport and his traveller's cheque is not valid or something and ask you make a payment.. when I confronted him, he deleted our entire chat and blocked me on whatsapp.. please beware
