Internet Female, sub-continent accent, purporting to be from BT: Unauthorized access has been gained to your router without password or authentication. "Switch on your computer!" On declining to do so, threatens to cut off internet for 14 days!

The caller rang of as soon as I answered. Therefore I suspect some Sort of sales rubbish or scammer. They will not get a chance to mess me about again as I am blocking the number. I hate this method of trying to sell things to the general public. Most of my peer group no longer answer their land line or their mobile if the number is not in their phones contact list.

I live in sheltered housing and they ring me, I think by accident, to see if I was OK. I rang them back and they just wanted to know if I had any medical problems or needed any help.
Not sure who they are because they keep ringing me when I am driving so I drop the call. Very annoying because all they do is try again a few minutes later. I have blocked them.

On answering, I got a recorded message saying it was something to do with bank security, followed by a message that was intended to frighten. I hung up, and have blocked the number. Information 07355 118732 sent me a text message. HSBC: Direct Debit successfully set up to EE for 183GBP, if this was NOT YOU call us on 01313785729. I don`t bank with HSBC, but anyway, tried to call the number given. This just rings for a couple of minutes then get a message saying the mailbox is full. Therefore, both the mobile and landline numbers given are SPAM.
