The male voice said they were calling from my bank to inform me that a large sum of money had been sent abroad and a purchase had been made on Amazon. The instructions were to press number 1 or 3 to speak to someone. At this poit I hung up.

SCAM This number called me today. It was a bot voice claimed it is from UK HMRC and asked me to press 1 to speak to an officer. I didn't press, but it is highly suspicious.

The guy introduced himself Peter Jones calling from Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd. trying to sell personal loan. it was suspicious. checked with FCA, I've been told that they are impersonating businesses and personal names. Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd is a legitimate company and they are only mortgage broker not selling or offering personal loans. beware this landline number is a scam. personal loan only offered by banks directly.

Pretending to be Three mobile - was rude and abusive when I told them that I was taking three to court due to previous levels of service, so I knew they would not be marketing me and that this is a scam. Asian call centre using UK phone numbers. BEWARE!

Keep getting hassled by these fake phone contract impersonators. You block them, they contact you on another number. Normal rigmarole, offer to cut your bill, then ask you for code sent via text. They have spoofed your details and with the code cam access your account. I gave them the wrong code about 5/6 times before they gave up. I try to waste their time for as long as possible, only pleasure from these calls.SCAM

Claimed to be EE, highly doubtful, didn't know my name which EE would. Caller had very strong Indian accent, everytime I've spoken to EE they've had UK based centres, also when questioned about call origin she wasn't sure where call was routed from...very suspicious Definitely seemed very scam-like

SCAM Callcenter claiming to be a solicitor firm offering to add me to their group compensation claim against Mercedes and BMW for emissions defeating devices fitted to cars. I could get thousands of pounds in compensation. Same company uses many other numbers and does not honour cease and desist requests nor do they comply with the Data Protection Act and UK-GDPR requests to remove my details from their Database. Called and said they from 3 mobile, promo dep. Offered two new phones with cheaper contracts, everything unlimited. (I got 8 months left tho). Then asked for name. He said he was passing me to his manager (diff man) he asked spelling of name, asked for postcode and house number. When I questioned needing house number he said checking because of scams. Also said different dep and just verifying. He asked for sort code & account number, when I questioned this HE HUNG UP! I called 3 not them. SCAMMERS!!

Had a card through the door saying they are from Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire County Court Bailiff Team - called the 01582 506 714 number and it just rings out. At the bottom of the card it says Albany Print and Design, HMP Isle of Wight....pretty certain this is fake!!!

Fraud SCAM Cllaims to be an HMRC Call back threatening legal action. Further search online shows this to be a fraudulent call. HMRC NEVER do this.

Says he is from citizens advice bureau and asked me if I owe a lot of debt. They mentioned that they had some paperwork about me and that I have debts which I owe. Sounded suspicious so I said No I don’t owe anything and then they said goodbye and hung up. I think it’s s scam to be honest.

Call centre spam / scam. Said she was from a company called MEA (I think). Claiming there was an issue with a life insurance policy, so there would be a problem with a payout. I don't know the company or have a policy with them.
