Pressed 2 to 'speak' to the bank (to give them a taste of their own medicine)., and just a random guy picks up the phone - think i got him out of his bed??? Strange! Lady asked if i want to authorize or cancel Amazon purchase of a gift card £300.00 She asked about BOB and Full name but when I asked to give me my name she said that she approves the purchase because i refused to give my name and hanged up. Getting so fed up with calls from this number, and others including what appear as mobiles, telling me that my "home appliance insurance" with them has expired, or is about to expire, and asking for my bank details so that it can be renewed. Very strange that the company insuring me (they're not, of course) has no idea what appliances I have. Calls coming 2-4 times each day.

Go and learn about the Indian national industry on Youtube by watching Jim Browning, or Pierogi, or Scammer payback, then when you've gained some knowledge, tell all your friends and family in order to help them not lose money. If you choose not to bother to learn and not to bother to share what you learn, you're part of the problem.

SCAM E-Mail, I believe this e-mail to be a scam. Informed me that my Currys PC protection plan is up for renewal @ £499.99. The phone number that they suggest I ring to talk about the renewal or cancellation is +44 1348 881008 this on checking, is a company in Dudley, using a [email protected] address. I may be wrong but I don't have any service plans with Currys and I think their e-mail address would include some reference to currys.
