Man with a thick Indian accent rang claiming to be from BT ringing about the internet slowing down at the house. He had my name and address and postcode. When I asked what my account number was he reeled off a number (which later check was wrong). I said I’d call by back and he gave me an 0333 number saying it was BT customer service. Rubbish! Very clever scammers trying to gain access to your internet where they can steal your bank details etc

Received a call from this number, 07723 544321, just after 17:00 today. The call went dead after I said hello, obviously a scam of some sort.
Said there from London but are from Birmingham. A guy called Ray called me. This is a scam.
I was called by this number and after a couple of rings, the call stopped. I telephoned back and it was answered by a male person with a Liverpool accent. I asked their name and what they do for work and they said that their name was Jerry and they were a warehouse worker. I advised that they had called me but they strongly said they did not. I believe this was a SPOOFING SCAM. I would advise anyone who receives anything like this to be on your guard and not give ANY personal information away .... not

SCAM Wife was subject to the Post Office text scam and gave her credit card details and personal information by return. She cancelled the card immediately and was issued a new one. Call center Received call June 2022. Stated they were calling about a social housing repair scheme and were there any issues with damp, outstanding repairs. I told them I was not in social housing and they asked if I owned my home. I said yes (to get them off the phone) and they hung up. When you call the number back you get an automated message for a company In Debt Services Management (nothing to do with social housing repairs). Beware of this company (sounds like an overseas call centre)

Received a call from this number today asking me for my work ID number. Refused to provide as the person who did not identify himself when calling my private phone number. Asked from where he obtained my number got no answer. When calling back, person did not take call. Going back to base explained the incident to my manager, manager called this number from the office landline caller took the call and was still demanding the ID number said he will get it anyway and hung up.

Picked this up on a missed call. As it was a local number I wasn't concerned. Message left stating that a payment to Western Union had been requested for £1000 +. This is obviously a cloned number. Number not recognised on ringing back. Will report to Fraud unit.
Has rung 3 times in two days. First time I was out, 2nd I was busy and let answerphone take it - they rang off as soon as my OGM started playing. Rang it back at midnight last night and got a meaningless 'Your call is really important to us' message. Told my blocker to block future calls - it intercepted another this morning.

This number called me and was an automated message about Amazon Prime Video (which I Don't subscribe to) it said it was taking £95.00 from my account to pay for re-subscription. Obviously a scam but has left me nervous that somehow, someone may know how to access my bank account.
