I have been call numerous times from this number. They are claiming I've got thousands of pounds of debt which I don't have any debt

They were following up on a one-off donation to see if I would set up a direct debit for a regular donation. (The call operator had my details and those of my prior donation.) Indian male called Alex purporting to be from BT telling me I had a problem with my internet and they were getting urgent error signals. I knew it was a hoax call, had them before, so asked him twice what the signals were and he put the phone down. I googled the number that came up, 01438 318251 and its for a homeless shelter in Stevenage. Indian scammers using business numbers for those that really need help! Sick b$%^A$%s!
The exact number was 01340 831714. After searching it here, I called the number back. It has a BT call screener on it. A Scottish sounding older lady picked up the phone. I told her my name and said I'd had a missed call from her number at 7:47am this morning (3-3-23). Her reply? "No, not me, no you haven't" and then she put the phone down. With a call that early in the morning, I thought my son had been in a car accident or something :-(. Very unhelpful and distressing. No idea what's been going

SCAM E-Mail, I believe this e-mail to be a scam. Informed me that my Currys PC protection plan is up for renewal @ £499.99. The phone number that they suggest I ring to talk about the renewal or cancellation is +44 1348 881008 this on checking, is a company in Dudley, using a [email protected] address. I may be wrong but I don't have any service plans with Currys and I think their e-mail address would include some reference to currys.
What a nuisance this caller does not hold on long enough to get an answer!
