I moved houses not a long time ago and the above meenymberhas been trying to contact me a few times a day for the past two weeks. I answered the first phone call and it was about insurance I didn t need. When they called me agAin, I blocked the number. I have just checked my list of blocked numbers and they called me 14 times within a weeek. Complete waste of time

Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. Addressed me by my first name and asked if I had a PPI claim refused. Devious as they used a local area code number

2nd automated recorded call in a day. TPS registered. Reported for 2nd time in the day!

1 to 2 calls a day - my wife too. Often hangs up on answering...

Sounded like Indian call centre but number was for Weybridge area! Tried tried to sell me a number blocking service; most likely a scam. They gave up eventually.

Nothing important and probably unimportant happens or exists because of anything done in the name of research carried out bu cold calling what to you are random people. The users of these numbers are very difficult to understand. I only understood anything because booking number, but that was about it. I said several times that you should call me only if you can speak properly and normally. But so far nothing.

Someone somewhere was or is being scammed by some fake investment groups and it is sad, this experience is harder than many people think. Just done some business with Reed Rains so this looks like another example of passing (or selling on) personal data. The Consumers Association (Which) are currently running a program to identify and stop these sort of calls. I ll add this one to their list

Calling Sapphire on this number is a cost trap. You hold on for several minutes whilst an automated message chips on and on @ 15p a minute and then when it is answered and you state that you are chasing payment their standard response is that the cheque to settle the Voucher claim will be posted next Monday. This has happened to me on a total of 7 times now. I ve received 2 payments of £20 and £50 but I ve still not got back my £79.99 fee plus being charged around £15 in phones calls. Some random agency contacted me from this number. They started the call with the usual "Good afternoon, I m xxxx is that surname". I sent them away with a flea in their ear as they didn t understand how impolite it is to call someone by their surname only (not even a Mr). If they can t get my name correct then how can I trust them to get me some business and/or pay invoices etc.
