Called number as thought it might be important, recorded message says nobody available to pick up call but holding me with music! They do not identify themselves which alerts my suspicions. Almost immediately I am called back and male caller asks for James, I am female. They are calling about the vehicle collision "James" was involved in. So you be the judge. They rang our landline and asked to speak to the BT broadband account holder. I said I was the broadband user and then they put the phone down on me. So I have blocked the number.

I started getting calls from this number saying that I was owed compensation for a car accident I had recently been in. I informed them I had never been in an accident so they asked me if a family member had been, and I said no and hung up. I ve had a few more calls saying the same thing, and each time I told them to f*** off and hung up. Now they call, don t say anything and then hang up, this happens at least once a week.

keep having these calls 4 this morning from 8.00 to 10.00. reported the number to offcom yesterday. I am ex directory so would love to know how they have got hold of my number. ...

Prerecorded message starts up on answering, "This is an URGENT message regarding your private pension" so I hung up.

3 times this number has contacted me in the last 2 hour, each time asking for a different name none of which I know doing my head in now. They keep saying they will remove number then ring again half hour later!!
