SCAM Said they are a credit agent trying to recover an outstanding student loan. Told her I never had a student loan as I didn’t go to university, I went straight into full time employment when I left school. She then got aggressive demanding I pay now or else. So I said I’m handing your number to the police and I have recorded the conversation. Then she swore for a few seconds then hung up.

Called number as thought it might be important, recorded message says nobody available to pick up call but holding me with music! They do not identify themselves which alerts my suspicions. Fraud ...... recorded message claiming to be Amazon Prime to confirm my payment to them and then coming up with an offer subject to an additional payment. I do not have Amazon Prime membership. The caller clearly has no idea whether I have Prime membership or not.

Some random agency contacted me from this number. They started the call with the usual "Good afternoon, I m xxxx is that surname". I sent them away with a flea in their ear as they didn t understand how impolite it is to call someone by their surname only (not even a Mr). If they can t get my name correct then how can I trust them to get me some business and/or pay invoices etc.

PPI scammers These clowns had access to both my home and mobile phone. I am registered with TPS and I don t give out my home phone unless forced. Automated call system - took them 20 seconds to respond. Caller admitted it was a PPI call. I requested to be removed from their list. I rang the number back twice but only got through to a stupid "voice message"
