Sent suspicious text about missed delivery by "Matthew", sent a link to arrange a redelivery, when I entered the link on a separate device, google said that the website is malicious and may try to steal your data and blocked me from opening the site.

This number was attached to a scam text telling me a virgin money account (not a customer) was placed on hold. All false.

Claims to be from a loft survey company "Acting on behalf of a local government grant" but when I asked which grant or even which property they were calling about became immediately offensive. Being called "Bell end" and "Cock Sucker" then repeatedly called my number continuously for nearly an hour

SCAM Said from Vodafone upgrade team and could offer me a great deal on a upgrade. Asked them to email me the details so I could check it over. Email looked dodgy, address wasn't a Vodafone one. Forwarded onto Vodafone and they said not a genuine email from them. Called me back again and got angry when I challenged them on what Vodafone said. Told me I'd get another email to prove they were genuine within 30mins, still waiting a few hours later. Four calls today alone, all from different numbers!

Fraud Calling about government scheme to reduce debt repayments, but called from a personal phone number (07...) and didn't know any of my details beforehand. Would be wary.

Phoned me and played a computer recodred message which claimed to be from my card provider, without telling me who they were. Told me that there had been suspicious transactions on my account and tried to get me to speak to them. I hung up and checked with my bank who told me that nothing of the sort could have happened. Recieved a call from this number sounded like a call centre, I am in Australia, knew my name would not tell me how she was and were she was from, wanted me to confirm my name I just not me when she asked if I was XXXX, then she hung up.

Indian call centre. Will try and persuade you to open windows event viewer and tell you the warnings in there are the result of being hacked.

Caller claimed to be from BT openreach calling about internet issues. They asked me to run a speed test and when I said I had 69 download and 18 upload they said that the difference was an issue. When I pointed out that it was always like that, and wasn't supposed to be the same they hung up. Obviously a scam.

Fraud. It was a recorded message saying it was bank security, when the number was called back it answered with a recorded message for NHS Dorset!
