A bit insistent when I said no, and asked why so when I said ‘because I don’t want to’ she ended the call. It was quite a friendly manner but as above, quite pushy. Claims to be Kieran a delivery driver who failed to deliver ‘your shipment’ as no one was home. Then there is a website link. A) I was home B) all my expected deliveries are accounted for.
A lady asked for my name, said she had recieved a missed call from my number. I told her she couldn't have because I hadn't made say calls. She said OK and ended the call.
SCAM called wanted to talk about my Virgin Media broadband which was about to be disconnected. When I told him that I don’t have service from Virgin Media and suspected a scam call he got abusive.

This number called me at 7:36 am on a Monday morning! I'm a retired person so I don't get up before the sun and at 7:36 am the sun is still in bed in Greater Manchester. I did jump out of bed but didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. Apparently the call originated in Thanet which Google tells me is in Kent. As I know of no reason why someone from Thanet (which I'd never even heard of) should phone me at an ungodly time of day I can only assume this was a scam call.

Automated call A number that shows up as a local call on my landline (without prefix)..However, it is followed by the well-known 7 bleeps and a pre-recorded message saying "Thank you for calling". I have received hundreds of calls of this type from numbers all over the country. Why it seems to be impossible to put a stop to the company that is responsible for these nuisance calls is something I simply do not understand.
