Had a call from this number on my Moby, I answered it and asked who they were. Fella said he was from a company that was enquiring if I had a Funeral Plan in place. Cold calling from companies that trawl the internet looking for innocent people like me who have inadvertently entered into legitimate competitions online and think that because I have entered my Moby Number to the competition company, that they can ring me. I blocked this number straightaway on my Moby.

09 Dec 2021 - Kept ringing me and when I answered the 3rd time and muted it, the guy on the other end said "hey, fuck off" He called again straight after hanging up and when I told him to stop calling me or I would call the police he said "I love you and want to propose" He called me a total of 5 times in 3 minutes. Spam calls are bad enough but this one rings twice then hangs up! Twice a day for the last week. Whoever you are, just buggar off.
It's the 'the warranty on your washing machine has expired' scam. They will ask you to set up a direct debit, hoping to get your bank details. Quite persistent. If you play gormless and keep them talking you will stop them phoning someone else!

This is a fake number used by scammers to try to get personal information about you. They sound very official and scary, suggesting legal action against you. I inadvertently provided them with my name, National Insurance number and name of bank before I realised that it was a phishing attempt. The caller spoke with a slightly American accent. I tried to call the number back, but it's invalid.

SCAM / SPAM . Jokers trying to scam money for a non existent mental health charity. I was threatened that their legal department would be in touch when I advised that i would not be paying. Absolute scum!
They say they are calling about the miss-selling of payment protection insurance. I first got the calls in early May when i guess they were just checking whether the random digit diallings were live numbers and saving them into a list. Now they are selling the list or carrying out surveys themselves. This needs to stop. I know people who work in call centres doing this type of thing. It s a slimey business.
