Because they want to be able to ring you again and again. They want to speak to a person not a machine. Its how this all works. And this is an energy company that is persistent!

They say there from the call blocking service but they are not as I checked it with the call blocking service another scammer who wants your card details.

I too get daily calls from this and similar numbers, block them on my phone but they soon use a different number. Now just ignore all calls with that prefix

Received a couple of calls from this number. It s Vanquis calling about supposed late payments and debt. It s one thing to call if the person actually has debt, but quite another if the person hasn t. What s more, they call at all hours and quite frequently so it s bothering on harassment!

Missed call and my VA took the call. This appears to be Opayo, who were formerly SagePay. I rang the number and they just say that one of their operatives will ring us back, pretty much when they feel like it.

Allegedly from Amazon regarding a supposed transaction— no, I don t think so!

This call was supposed to be from Amazon telling me I had ordered something for 399 pounds.I get these calls nearly every day why don t the police get after these scammers.

Claiming to be from Albany Assist calling about a non existent accident. Fishing for some details about said accident to close my file . When I asked for some details of the accident she hung up. Have previously called me and told me to f- off when I asked for more details.

Have been getting calls from this number for a while. But last week I told them I wasn?t interested in any survey and the guy started using racist and abusive language. Company claiming they had my details from an accident I had had and got stroppy when I kept telling them they had wrong number. Tried to claim it was right number so must be someone else in my "household" who had reported an accident. The number is a business phone solely for my use so they were just talking rubbish.

Marketing despite being tod registered

A couple of days ago I got two text messages confirming an appointment" in East Dulwich London. Needless to say I had no such appointment. I checked the address and it appeared to be a company renting out marquees. I also checked the phone numbers and thus I found this site. Now they have started ringing me but leaving no message. Either they have a wrong number, they are scammers or they are timewasters.
