Scam recorded call about HMRC, threatening arrest!
Automated call telling me £1000 had been taken from my account for a gambling site in the USA. It then followed saying £300 had been taken to pay Amazon. Neither of these things have happened. It asked to press 1 or 3 as a follow up.
Answered the call but no-one there and they hung up.

Get a very casual message using whatever name you are using on gumtree telling you youre paypal account has been hacked and to log in to change your pass.Like any sort of financial service would be running their security through a mobile.What made it more amusing for me is if they bothered seeing the third line of the ads they got my number from theyd see in large letters NO PAYPAL

This seems to be the latest scam whereby the caller tel no comes up as local to you and you answer assuming it s your dentist or child s school etc so 01525 is for Leighton Buzzard etc The give away is its always a scouser accent When you say hold on you are not a Leighton buzzard no they hang up They mentioned the accident I never had ... Sighs ... Had two calls now I answer and just quietly leave phone down and let them run up call charges

UK (not sure why it comes up as Hanoi on here!) - Worldwide scam phonecall from DHL in the UK spoofing the actual DHL customer service number so it looks/sounds legit, automated Chinese voice asking you to press 9 to speak to someone regarding a parcel, then repeats the message in Chinese. Tried to scam me by calling my phone and asked for my email address. Then I was told to check my email for a password to allow her to add me to her address list because she allegedly lost her list. When I checked the email message it was a code authorizing to reset my Facebook password, so I did not give the information. This person was even messaging in our native dialect. She avoided talking to me live though when I answered her call the first time, and just sent the message asking for my email.
I have the same thing, waiting for furniture ordered online, couldn't pick up the phone and when trying to call back, the number doesn't take incoming calls...

This caller called at 7:24 am, I was asleep after a very late night I do not speak nicely to what I believed was a scammer, I told them don’t ring this number at this hour of the day, asshole! Then hung up. Apparently this number seems to be known for scam calls!
