Automated message supposedly 'Bank Security' regarding two recent payments made by card....1 to Amazon for £300 and the 2nd an International payment of £1000+. The usual crap is then given re pressing 1 or 2 depending on how you want to proceed. Complete load of rubbish. I get regular calls from a variety of numbers all exactly the same. They want shooting! Bloody nuisance.
This number called my mobile, said nothing for about 10 seconds, then hung up. I left it 10 minutes before calling the number back from my mobile, withholding my number. It's comes up invalid number. So whoever is calling from this number is upto no good!!

Went through all the comments, I found some painful, while some were funny. My conclusion is most people can still get scammed just because they can’t read in- between the lines. I’ve be victimized. Now I have a resident expert and a professional hacker who helped me recover my funds and so far, it had been worth it. Hackers easily know a bitcoin scam. An Indian sounding gentleman on a very bad line, claimed to be calling me from Currys PCWorld with a promotion to upgrade my cellphone (his term) for no charge, could I just confirm what phone I currently had? As I do not have a mobile contract through Currys PCWorld I knew this was a scam call and hung up.

Scammer with automated message stating it was my bank.. Claimed a transfer of £600 had been blocked to western union and asking me to dial 1 to connect to an operator. I hung up as I don't even have £600 and checked with my online banking for any alerts. Nothing there.
