Just been called from this number claiming to be from BT Openreach wanting my Internet details as my security had been compromised. When challenged the caller was rude and hung up on me.This website suggests the phone is based near Greater Manchester but a phone locator website suggests it is based in London. Calling the number back yielded no response.
SCAM They started messaging me on whatsapp. it's a known chinese honey pot scam using atrative asian woman photos and then trying to make you invest in some kind of criptocurrency, mostly target men, everywhere in the world.

Nothing to worry about. A fireman offered to install smoke alarms in town the other day & left them at my door as I wasn't in, and just wanted to check that I'd got them okay & if I'd installed them. Really good considering it was free.

I haven’t answered this call yet as I tend to not answer calls where I don’t recognise the number - I figure if it’s important they’ll leave a voicemail. I was getting consistent calls from another number in the same area as this one which I blocked yesterday, and now today I’ve already had two calls from this number in the same area. Indian scammer called saying there have been charges of over £1500 on a debit card that I do not have, waisted 50 mins of my time playing along, when I told him I have over £235,000 in a saving account plus another £53,000 in other accounts he gave me this number to call, I said I will call them in a hour as I have a Doctors appointment.
