Automated spam call, supposedly from Amazon, about authorising £1250 payment for an iPhone.
It was a computer generated voice telling me that my card was being used for a £700 transaction. I ended the call and checked all my cards online. No such transaction so I took it that this us a scam.

An automated message claimed to be from (non specific) card provider and there were 2 suspicious charges from Amazon. It cut off before end of message but was typical phishing call.

So Octopus Brokers pretending to be an Energy Company, are selling private details to third parties who want to put lethal equipment in people's homes so they can cut people off when they feel like it. I will report them to the ICO. Section 4(2) of the Fraud Act 2006 covers fraud by abuse of position which the billing company deliberately omit.
