SCAM Fraud Call center Just called me claiming to be from Sky, wanting to speak to me about my Broadband. When I told them I know this is a Scam call, as I don't have Sky Broadband, they hung-up, so obviously a scammer. It was an Indian-sounding woman, from a call centre, so could well have been coming from India etc, with the number spoofed / redirected to blocks of UK numbers being resold to places like that.

I randomly got texted by this number saying "Hi, there." at 11:18, which was weird at first but then I texted "who is this?" and I haven't got a response yet. Sounded suspect to me from an unknown company wanting to talk about my broadband. Took ages to respond when I answered which usually means they are calling multiple numbers and then nebulous about answering why they were calling. Be wary.

This number rang on 09/03/23. When I answered, the call just ended. This number rang again on 10/03/23. The caller had a South Asian accent, knew my name and enquired about the car accident I'd had. I responded that this would be the car accident I hadn't had and told him to stop wasting my time. There was a fairly insincere 'apology' that he'd been given the incorrect details.
