Said from Amazon, re an iPhone being ordered on my account, for £723. Said they've stopped the transaction a nd to Press 1 to speak to Amazon rep etc etc etc....suspect a scam...nothing showing on my Amazon account.
Phone rang and only weird noise on line. Hung up.

Says he is from citizens advice bureau and asked me if I owe a lot of debt. They mentioned that they had some paperwork about me and that I have debts which I owe. Sounded suspicious so I said No I don’t owe anything and then they said goodbye and hung up. I think it’s s scam to be honest.
SCAM; beware, there was a recorded message saying £600 transaction had just happened on my credit card and to press 1 to stop the transaction. my credit card complant would not call me from a mobile number using a recorded message. BEWARE

I have BT guardian which asks callers to announce who they are before I answer. Most sales calls hang up at that point, this one didn't. Lovely lady explained that I could have a half hour appointment to check energy efficiency of my home and advise of any improvements. I made the appointment. Very polite young man called Adam arrived, checked the loft and roof, looked around, discussed my energy payment per month. The information given was useful, nothing to sign, no sales pitch. I would have no worries.

Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. Asked for my full name, which I queried as he was supposed to have my account records. However, not giving anything away, I did so but he misspelled everything. Called the number back and it was an automated message from Crown Glazing Ltd. It said I could hit 9 to remove my from their list...so I obviously immediately hung up and blocked the number!
Complete silence when answered - unnerving and unnecessary nuisance call.
