This was a call from the Halifax Bank, I have recently made an appointment to discuss an issue regarding one of their services.
Got a automated call saying it was Visa debit Mastercard and about 2 hefty transactions one 700 something and one 900 something
I tried to answer but they hung up before I managed to speak to them. Upon checking here, I have now blocked this number ,
Scam answer machine saying that you spent money on a California betting site, and to press 1 to clear payment.
Unsolicited call from some sort of marketing company in Leeds called Smart Compare. I have blocked this number now.
This number say I need to give them money, otherwise I will be injured
SCAM Wife was subject to the Post Office text scam and gave her credit card details and personal information by return. She cancelled the card immediately and was issued a new one. Amazon scammer. Told me someone hacked my Amazon account and ordered a £754 iPhone. Sent me a code in a text and asked for this code. No order showed on my Amazon account nor got a confirmation email. He got impatient with me when I said that I don't trust him and asked how I can know if he's not trying to scam me. He hung up.

Suspect it's Cognism or similar checking they have the correct mobile numbers for contacts they're selling. Ask for you by first name, then when you say it's you, they say a random surname and then claim they must have a wrong number.
Claimed to have received information saying I had unsecured debt, but when I asked for info about who I apparently have this unsecured debt with, he told me he didn't have that info and kept asking fir my personal info. When I wouldn't give it to him, he hung up. BLOCKED!!
Automated voice said this was a call from a bank security dept. Immediately, I hung up.

I didn't answer this number, as I do not know it, I don't know anyone in London. It rang my mobile number, but never left a message , even though the answering machine kicked in. The map was not clear enough for me to see what part of London the call came from
