Came up on phone as 01382746986 then International but definitely Only had the Sundee area code of 01382 no other prefixes. Answering machine took the call and recorded part of the automated message apparently from Amazon Prime saying that unless I contact them 99.99 will be taken from my bank (Never mentioned pounds or dollars or any currency, just 99.99) Obviously a spam call.

This number called 02038831206 this morning didn’t answer as am sick of getting them. It’s not the first time they ring you from another similar number I just blocked them now after checking out number
NSPCC have been ringing my landline for the last 3 days asking me to double my donation. Ive said no 3 times . Getting so annoyed now I might just cancel my donations altogether and give to another childrens charity. A one that doesnt use my money to pay people in call centres!

Text message - claiming to be from the Royal Mail. Said they'd tried to deliver a parcel while I was out - so I should send them £2 for re-delivery, otherwise the parcel would be returned to sender. However ... 1) I was at home all day; 2) I'm not expecting a delivery via the Royal Mail; 3) The Royal Mail don't levy a charge for re-delivery.
Automated call claiming were HMRC and some tax investigation. Then went on to day If don't press 1 will be arrested for fraud.

09 Dec 2021 - Kept ringing me and when I answered the 3rd time and muted it, the guy on the other end said "hey, fuck off" He called again straight after hanging up and when I told him to stop calling me or I would call the police he said "I love you and want to propose" He called me a total of 5 times in 3 minutes. They say they are calling about the miss-selling of payment protection insurance. I first got the calls in early May when i guess they were just checking whether the random digit diallings were live numbers and saving them into a list. Now they are selling the list or carrying out surveys themselves. This needs to stop. I know people who work in call centres doing this type of thing. It s a slimey business.
