SCAM! Man with strong Indian accent claimed to be from Talktalk. Tried to get remote access to my computer to fix a fault .

These numbers are provided by "reputable"service providers and are used (mostly) by independent marketeers on commission from large companies (e.g. BT, Sky, British Gas, etc.) to push products. I do NOT understand why TPS, ICO, or anyone else seems to give a proverbial **** about the nuisance these people are when you have taken every precaution to avoid them.

I initially ignored their calls but I am glad I answered a call in the end. They helped me locate an old workplace pension that I had two decades ago. I hadn t given the pension much thought since I left the job. I couldn t of afforded hundreds of pounds to pay a financial advisor so they really helped me out. I do understand people being annoyed about the cold calling though.

09 Dec 2021 - Kept ringing me and when I answered the 3rd time and muted it, the guy on the other end said "hey, fuck off" He called again straight after hanging up and when I told him to stop calling me or I would call the police he said "I love you and want to propose" He called me a total of 5 times in 3 minutes. This Indian sounding gentleman says he works for the Ministry of Justice in London & is the senior accounts manager working with a company called money saving expert to recover PPI insurances on loans & mortgages. For an up front cash fee(?290 or ?615) payable via Western Union, to India, he will arrange transfer of funds to you which amount to 10 s of thousands of pounds. Once the cash fee is paid another Indian sounding gentleman phones to get the Western Union transfer number(MCTN)& tells you everything

Automated "you were involved in a non-fault accident" ambulance chaser.

NSPCC have been ringing my landline for the last 3 days asking me to double my donation. Ive said no 3 times . Getting so annoyed now I might just cancel my donations altogether and give to another childrens charity. A one that doesnt use my money to pay people in call centres!

Recorded messages about making a claim (PPI I think) repeatedly on an almost daily basis. I ve looked at Google streetview on the location of this site indicates but there s nothing obvious. Would love to know who they are so I can start calling them for no apparent reason repeatedly. I ve been registered with the TPS since 2003. I ve called the number back and there s a recorded message. I m not risking pressing any buttons to unsubscribe as I ve heard you can end up on a premium rate line.

I got the call just a few minutes ago. I did not recognise it. In let it ring. At the end it rang off and left no message.I am old and not keen to trust ssuch callers

Asian person saying will only take a minute just wanted to ask a few questions. normally i just hang up but for some reason i didnt. asked me what my brand of tv is, how much i spend on holidays, who my electricty is with, my income bracket where i would go on holiday. dont think they are con artist, just gathering data so more companies can send you spam...should have hung up! waste of 2 minutes

CLC timeshare company called me advising I had won a holiday. Despite telling them I d researched their company on the Internet, & read hundreds of negative reviews, & I am not interested. They keep calling.....also rude when I said thanks but not interested.
