Rang today saying it was a debt company and my husband( who they didn’t know was deceased ) owed money for a long time . I didn’t tell them he was deceased and said if you want ant contact with my husband you’ll only get it through me , as this Indian insisted he spoke to him . I said do you understand what I’m saying to you if you have anything to say to my husband you won’t get passed me so either hang up or speak your peace . scammer stating they are from Barclays bank fraud team and requested money be drawn out and sent to an address to catch the fraudsters they are investigating.

They called asking for someone of a different name. I said it's a wrong number and they hung up. However it sounded very much like a scam call centre. After doing 1471 3 called them back and was hearing a recorded message about them being telly tube or telly shute. Never heard of them.

May have mentioned UPS which co-incidentally I've been receiving scam emails recently purporting to be from them about an outstanding delivery which I can categorically state I am NOT awaiting. Had the same calls about my credit card being used inappropriately from random mobile numbers, this time it appeared to be from a landline 02074858307.

Called today saying I had charges to my bank and they said press 1 if they were allowed or 2 if unauthorised.

Please watch out for these scumbags - they will also send a very official looking booklet claiming to be from Scottish Widows via e-mail A couple of guys calling themselves Tom & Jamie but when you try calling their number it doesn't connect They are very polite and professional on the phone If you send them any money you will never see it again - luckily we didn't get caught but it was close

020 8144 3803 Windows computer virus scam. They (whoever 'they' are) have been using the same script for years. In fact, this number goes back a while. They con you into giving them access to your PC, plant a virus on it (supposedly) then charge you £100's to remove it. Just hang up & block the number.
